Sam co-founded RDC with the sole philosophy of offering clients excellent Development, Design, General Contracting and Construction Management services. He sought to provide his clients with timely and cost effective service that exceeded his clients’ construction goals. Sam’s creation of a niche real estate business model by pioneering a high caliber construction industry service organization has set him above the rest. His commitment to integrity and excellence coupled with his extensive experience serves RDC well.
SAM RYCHIK
(PRESIDENT EMERITUS)
Sam Rychik is RDC’s President Emeritus, and is involved in project initiation and logistics. Sam has 38 years experience working in the Engineering, Development and Construction Industry including Construction Management.
Some of his many accomplishments include the Chemical Bank World Headquarters 277 Park Ave - New York, New York; Maimonides Medical Center - Brooklyn, New York; Children’s Hospital - Miami, Florida; Chinatown Housing - 34 floors & 19 floors apartment; Board of Education and School Construction Authority - Total of 45 new and modernized schools; Phipps Houses - Bronx, New York, 20 Buildings total of 699 Apartments.
YAKOV RYCHIK
(PRESIDENT & CEO)
Yakov Rychik is RDC’s President and CEO handling all aspects of RDC’s projects. Yakov specializes in discovering fresh new development sites and turning them into unique projects with high returns to RDC. In addition to finding, conceptualizing and designing RDC’s projects, Yakov manages the day to day development and construction of RDC.
Yakov co-founded RDC with his professionalism. He is responsible for all phases of Development, Construction, early stage design feasibility for acquisition, financing, sales and marketing. Yakov works collaboratively with City, State and Federal Governments, including Zoning and land use, Landmarks commission and city planning agencies. Additional tasks includes strategizing, directs, negotiates in all aspects of its Real Estate Development and Construction. His attention to detail is refreshing in a sea of other developers who often miss the balance between the big picture and the fine details. His background in real estate architecture gives him an unparalleled edge in choosing, conceptualizing and executing construction projects and makes him an invaluable asset to RDC. Yakov's education includes a Bachelor of Architectural Degree from New York Institute of Technology.
Before joining RDC, Yakov has worked with prestigious firm of Skidmore, Owings and Merrill, LLP. involved in Design and Technical Department for several projects such as the New Ben Gurion International Airport in Israel. Other projects included the New Arrival and Departure J.F.K. International Airport. NY., the New Continental Airlines Terminal “C” and Concourse in Newark International Airport. N.J., J.P. Morgan Private Bank - 345 Park Ave, Goldman Sachs - N.Y.C., Boston & Toronto., Saloman Brothers Inc. 7 World Trade Center Headquarters (Due to our tragic lost of 9/11 that building no longer stand), Bertelsmann Property Inc - 1540 Broadway, Fuga Island - Urban Planning in the Philippines Sotheby’s - 72nd and York Ave.
